STATS Chief Technology Officer to Speak at Google’s Women Techmakers

CHICAGO – March 14, 2019 –– STATS, the worldwide leader in sports data and intelligence, announced that Dr. Helen Sun, Chief Technology Officer, will present on a panel at Google’s Women Techmakers event celebrating International Women’s Day at Google’s offices in Chicago, Illinois, on Saturday, March 16.

Dr. Sun will speak on the panel, “Lift as We Climb,” focusing on the importance of the empowerment of women through career advancement in the tech industry. Joined on stage by three prominent female tech figures, Dr. Sun will share the advice and support she has both given and received throughout her illustrious career in senior and C-suite positions at Oracle, Salesforce, Motorola Solutions, JPMorgan Chase, and her current role as CTO at STATS.

“It is no secret that the technology sector needs more women among its ranks, and it is vital that fellow women serve as advocates, mentors and support systems to welcome in the next generation of female innovators,” said Dr. Sun. “The technology industry is on the cusp of an exciting boom, and it is vital that the female voice is integrated into the brainstorming and decision making of next-generation innovations. I am thrilled to take part in this event to meet and network with Chicago’s female tech future and to share what I’ve done in my career and at STATS to have a positive impact on women in technology.”
