STATS’ National Fantasy Football Championship Partners with RotoBowl

July 20, 2015

Chicago and Philadelphia – July 20, 2015 – STATS LLC, the world’s leading sports technology, data and content company, announced it has partnered with RotoBowl.com to bring its National Fantasy Football Championship (NFFC) series of high-stakes fantasy games to the RotoBowl audience. The partnership unites two of the longest running fantasy sports entities, who have combined to award more than $16 million in prizes over the last 11 years, and allows RotoBowl’s customers to compete for larger prize pools.

By participating in the NFFC’s Online Championship, RotoBowl customers will now have a chance to compete for more than $3 million in prizes this season in the NFFC, including a $100,000 grand prize in the NFFC Online Championship. In all, the NFFC has five national contests this year, each with grand prizes of $80,000 or more.

“The opportunity to join the STATS family is a resounding victory for RotoBowl users who can now compete for even higher cash prizes,” said Chris Clarke, RotoBowl managing director and co-founder. “This partnership will provide access to the largest and most compelling fantasy contests around to our strong base of fantasy football players.”

“We’re very excited to welcome RotoBowl’s die-hard players as they compete for even bigger prizes in the NFFC,” said Greg Ambrosius, STATS’ General Manager of Consumer Gaming. “It’s a natural fit as our games are very similar to RotoBowl’s format and we have other offerings like the NFFC Cutline, NFFC Draft Champions National Championship and NFFC Primetime that will appeal to this audience. Their contest even used Third Round Reversal, which is a staple of NFFC drafts.”

Since 2004, the NFFC along with its baseball and basketball counterparts (NFBC and NFBKC) have awarded more than $28 million in prize money as the longest-running high-stakes fantasy sports contests in the industry.
