Over the past week, a couple more major injuries have toyed with the fantasy football landscape and COVID-19 issues continue to wreak havoc on the NFL schedule.
As has become a weekly custom this season, fantasy players are scrambling to find fill-ins after finding out Nick Chubb would be lost for several weeks due to a knee injury and Austin Ekeler would miss 4-6 weeks with a strained hamstring. Cam Newton remains out with the coronavirus, and the Patriots-Broncos game has been moved to Monday night. Titans-Bills has also been pushed back to Tuesday with Corey Davis, Adam Humphries and other Titans still on the COVID-19 list.
Will Kareem Hunt and Joshua Kelley step into bigger roles and become fantasy stars? Stats Perform’s weekly fantasy roundup is back to discuss these issues and more with underlying data that could help inform smarter decisions when dealing with the omnipresent fantasy adversity.
In our video covering Week 5, Kevin Chroust is joined by Kyle Cunningham-Rhoads, Greg Gifford and Taylor Bechtold to discuss some of the top fantasy and daily fantasy plays.
