OptaPro, a world-leading data and technology provider to over 300 professional sports teams and national federations, is delighted to announce the launch of ProVision Cricket, an analytical tool designed to inform match analysis, recruitment, team selection and opposition scouting.
ProVision provides an online platform for detailed data-driven analysis, designed to meet the specific needs of teams through the application of interactive graphics, charts and visualisations integrated with match footage.
Already used by Cricket Australia, the tool has been developed in partnership with TruMedia Networks, a pioneer in US Sports analytics with over a decade’s experience of delivering cutting edge solutions across Major League Baseball and the National Football League.
In 2016 OptaPro and TruMedia Networks successfully launched the award-winning ProVision application to the professional football industry, which is now used by close to 50 teams around the world. ProVision Cricket will enable national governing bodies, domestic teams and T20 franchises to interrogate and analyse detailed ball-by-ball cricket data across all three formats of the game, covering over 90 competitions each year.
