So far, 2020 has been the year of the injury in the NFL.
Several key starters are already sidelined – including the first two picks in most fantasy drafts – leaving many fantasy players scrambling for replacements via trade or the waiver wire. But don’t panic. Stats Perform is here to help with underlying data that could help inform smarter decisions when dealing with fantasy adversity.
In our video (below) covering Week 3, Kevin Chroust is joined by Kyle Cunningham-Rhoads, Micah Parshall and Taylor Bechtold to discuss some of the top injury-replacement options. They’ll also break down which higher-end running backs could thrive, quarterbacks who might be surprisingly productive, and receivers and tight ends with good matchups this weekend.
As always, they’ll project the top five fantasy performers at each position. Stats Perform has already come up big at running back this week after Jacksonville’s James Robinson, our fourth-ranked RB in Week 3, finished with two rushing touchdowns and six receptions for 83 yards in a loss to Miami on Thursday night.
