Seager Returns to Top, Trout Surges in Stats Perform’s MLB Leaderboards
By: Stats Perform
Corey Seager of the Los Angeles Dodgers has returned to the top of the Raw Value+ rankings after Juan Soto of the Washington Nationals had taken over the spot last week. Having played only twice since Sept. 3, Soto (223 RV+) fell eight plate appearances shy of the 130 needed to qualify for the leaderboards.

All the while, The Los Angeles Angels star jumped from a 177 RV+ to 193 over a one-week stretch.
Miguel Sano of the Minnesota Twins, Hanser Alberto of the Baltimore Orioles and Brandon Nimmo of the New York Mets remain in first in BIP+, Contact+ and Discipline+, respectively.
On the pitching leaderboards, Jacob deGrom of the New York Mets extended his push toward a possible third straight NL Cy Young Awards by retaining the top spots in Raw Value- and Whiff+. Zach Davies of the San Diego Padres continues to be the Command+ king.
Each week throughout this 60-game sprint, we’ll reveal the offensive leaders in RV+, BIP+, Contact+, Discipline+ and the pitching leaders in RV-, Command+ and Whiff+.
Here are this week’s rankings (through Sept. 10). Pitchers needed to face at least 140 batters to qualify:
