Football's standout technology provider
Quality. Trust. Innovation.
Stats Perform has been crowned Best Technology in Football at the 2026 Global Football Industry Awards, recognising its continued innovation in transforming how the game is analysed, understood and experienced.
Powered by the world's most trusted sports data and proprietary AI, Stats Perform's technology is helping teams, broadcasters, publishers and digital platforms unlock deeper insights, create richer storytelling experiences and connect fans with the game in new ways, across both men's and women's football.
The award recognises a landmark year of innovation, including the introduction of live Opta Vision data, the launch of Opta Pulse and the next-generation Opta Graphics.
Deeper Data. Richer Stories and Analysis.
At the heart of Stats Perform’s football proposition is Opta Vision, which combines event and tracking data with AI-enriched metrics to reveal what happens on and off the ball.
Analysing more than two million data points per match, it captures the movements of all 22 players to provide deeper insight into pressing, off-ball runs, phases of play and team shape. These insights help performance analysts identify tactically relevant insights to support pre-match preparation and enables broadcasters to explain the finer details behind decisive moments.
Since the start of the 2026-27 season, Opta Vision has been available live for multiple competitions, adding another dimension to in-game storytelling.
Engaging Content. Multiple Channels.
Stats Perform has also expanded its content creation capabilities for football in 2026.
Powered by Opta Vision, an enhanced Opta Graphics platform is enabling editorial, social and production teams to turn Opta’s most detailed football data into brandable visual content that can be shared with audiences in seconds, from player heat maps to expected goals graphics.
Launched this summer, Opta Pulse combines Opta data and AI to identify, produce and distribute video highlights across multiple social channels faster, by automatically identifying the most relevant and exciting events from a game as well as sourcing untapped historical footage which can be repurposed by broadcasters, leagues and publishers for new campaigns.
