STATS’ Limerick Director to Present at SportsTech Ireland Innovation Masterclass

LIMERICK – September 10, 2018 –– Today, STATS, the worldwide leader in sports data and intelligence, announced that Gráinne Barry, Regional Operations Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), will present as a member of a data analytics panel at the 2018 SportsTech Ireland Masterclass in Sports Entrepreneurship on Friday, 21 Sept.

The two-day Masterclass (21-22 Sept.) will look at the global picture and emerging trends in entrepreneurship within sports business, featuring executives from leading sport technology companies in Ireland. Barry’s panel titled “Introduction to Data Analytics in Sports Business” will examine trends in data and analytics for the development of entrepreneurial thinking in sports.

“STATS has been developing some of the leading artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions, and I look forward to discussing how new businesses can utilise forward-thinking sports data,” said Barry. “We are also seeing a rise in female participation and audience in sports, and I think that will have a profound impact on how we watch and interact with sports in the future.”
